Lex believes that progress comes from showing up with authenticity, not from meeting anyone else’s standards. Through this, she is shaping both her craft and her life with intention.
Tell us something about yourself! What would you like us to call you and what do you want people to know you for?
Hi, I’m Lex! I’m a pastry chef on a journey to create my own brand, Marajaw: Pastries & Confectionery. I’m currently in the baby steps of building this dream—learning, experimenting, and pouring my passion into every creation. I aspire to be known for pastries that are thoughtfully crafted with intention and heart.
How would you describe your Rituals in three words?
Efficient, adaptive, goal-oriented.
My rituals are designed to make the most of my time. I adjust as I learn and grow and do my best to keep focused on clear goals while I’m slowly turning my dreams into reality.
Give us a little update—what are three things that have made you feel good recently?
Prioritizing experiences that help me achieve a better version of myself like my Pore-Refining Ritual session at Simply Skin
Seeing my progress slowly take shape through continued perseverance and passion, both in the kitchen and in life
Being able to give back to my loved ones in any way I can, whether through actions or small gestures—because I truly can’t put into words how much they’ve supported and helped me
What’s one secret you can lend to a fellow Woman in Progress®️ for a great journey towards progress?
Focus on improving, not proving. There’s something truly authentic about living life for yourself, rather than by the standards of others. So often, we’re taught that we have to show the world how great we are—but if your intentions are pure and you move with purpose, people will naturally see who you are and what you stand for. We waste so much energy proving ourselves to others, when really, the only person you truly need to prove anything to is yourself.
