Tell us something about yourself! What would you like us to call you and what do you want people to know you for?

Hi! I’m Franny Balburias, you can just call me Franny. I love anything fashionably creative and I see the world in visuals, not in words. I love playing with color and I guess that’s also why my work is highly creative as well.

How would you describe your Rituals in three words?

I’d say I keep my rituals: short, simple but efficient.

I always remove my makeup no matter what! I never sleep without cleaning my face and doing my skincare. To keep it simple, I only do what my skin needs — a bit of vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and retinol if needed.

I stay active at least once or twice a week. I believe that movement can really help, whether it’s as simple as walking around to do my errands or doing a Lagree class. I find that working out helps with my overall mood.

These rituals I do aren’t revolutionary, but they work. Most importantly, they work for me! I always listen to what my body needs and act accordingly.

Give us a little update—what are three things that have made you feel good recently?

I’m about to get married soon, and we just finished the branding for it, like the logos and illustrations, and it made me feel so happy and excited to bring it to life! And since we’re on that topic, we also just did our final ocular for the venue in Bacolod with some of our friends and family. It was a really fun and productive trip. Lastly, spending time at Simply Skin—the Deep Pore-Cleansing Facial was so relaxing. And I instantly felt and saw results since my skin’s hydration really increased.

What’s one secret you can lend to a fellow Woman in Progress®️ for a great journey towards progress?

Don’t take rest for granted and never compare your journey to someone else’s! Always do things at your own pace, because at the end of the day, you should always see growth as something personal to you, what you’re going through, and who you eventually want to be.
