What is the Ultherapy® + Botox® combination treatment?

This is a same-day, dual-modality treatment that combines Ultherapy® (for lifting, tightening, and collagen stimulation) and Botox® (for muscle relaxation and contouring).

Ultherapy® is always done first, followed by Botox®, to ensure optimal safety and results.

Why is Ultherapy® done first before Botox®?

Ultherapy® uses focused ultrasound energy that penetrates deep tissue layers. Doing it first:

  • Prevents the displacement of Botox®
  • Ensures precise ultrasound energy delivery
  • Maximizes treatment effectiveness and safety

Botox® is administered after Ultherapy® once the skin has settled.

Ultherapy®: 6 months up to 1 year or longer, depending on skin condition and lifestyle.

For best and more sustained results, the combination treatment may be repeated every 6 months, as advised by your doctor or Skin Experts.

Can I combine Ultherapy®, Botox®, and laser or facial treatments?

Yes, laser or facial treatments can complement Ultherapy® and Botox® to improve skin texture, tone, and pigmentation.

  • Timing: Ultherapy® is done first, followed by Botox®. Laser or facial treatments should be scheduled at least 2 weeks after the Ultherapy® + Botox® session to allow the skin to settle and avoid irritation.
  • Purpose: Enhances fine lines, pigmentation, acne scars, and overall skin radiance, complementing the lifting and contouring effects of Ultherapy® and Botox®.
  • Safety: Your Skin Expert or doctor will guide the best type of laser or facial for your skin and ensure optimal results.

Are there any guidelines for makeup and skincare after the treatment?

1. Makeup

  • You may apply makeup 24 hours after treatment, once any mild redness or swelling has settled.
  • Use gentle application; avoid pressing too hard on treated areas.
  • Avoid heavy or abrasive exfoliating products for at least 1 week.

2. Skincare Routine

  • Cleansing: Use a gentle, non-irritating cleanser twice daily.
  • Moisturizing: Apply a hydrating moisturizer 2–3 times daily to support skin recovery.
  • Sun Protection: Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+) is essential to protect treated skin and maintain results.
  • Avoid: Harsh scrubs, chemical peels, or aggressive treatments for at least 2 weeks, especially before your next laser or facial session.
  • Optional: Actives may be used if well-tolerated. Avoid retinoids for at least 1 week unless advised by your doctor.
